About This Project
After coming home one day to find a leak in her conservatory, our client contacted Crown Windows to help fix the issue. Damage to the roof meant the structure was no longer water-tight and desperately needed a replacement.
Having developed an excellent reputation over 20 years of building
conservatories in Milton Keynes, our client put complete trust in us to transform their space.
What We Did
We began this project by conducting an initial home survey, allowing us to assess the existing conservatory. As with all of our builds, we offered a free quote and design consultation so our client could understand her options. With all the information on the table, we moved forward with a shared vision for the replacement conservatory.
Our expert team of builders began laying the foundations for a double-hipped Edwardian conservatory. This popular design features a sloping roof and huge windows to maximise natural light and enhance a property’s aesthetic.
Having had issues with the roof previously, our client opted for Grey Tapco slate tiles and a Guardian roof for a stylish and sturdy build. This transformed the space into a year-round living area with increased shelter and insulation. Guardian roofs effectively make a conservatory feel more like a house extension.
Our client decided on white PVC frames to surround their new conservatory’s windows. These are our number one choice conservatory frames, and for good reason. They’re well suited to all homes and are super easy to maintain whilst providing passive savings on energy bills.
The finished conservatory is a massive upgrade from the client’s previous one. The double-hipped Edwardian style perfectly compliments the property, and the Guardian roof is ideal for all seasons. We were delighted to hear that our client couldn’t be happier with the final product.
